Remove Shift with an Assigned Locum
We understand that there may be various reasons for needing to cancel a locum who is already scheduled to work. If you need to cancel a shift with an assigned locum, please follow the steps outlined below.
Steps to Cancel a Shift via a Pharmacy Profile
- Login to your account.
- Navigate to the menu on the left-hand side and select ‘Pharmacies.’
- A list of all pharmacies associated with your profile will be displayed.
- Find the pharmacy profile you wish to access and click the blue ‘edit’ icon under the ‘Action’ column.
- At the top of the pharmacy profile, click the green ‘login’ button to access the profile.
- Once inside the profile, locate the shift you want to remove.
- Click the three dots (ellipsis) on the right-hand side of the shift and select ‘Remove Shift.’
- You will be prompted to confirm the removal of the shift.
- Once confirmed, the shift will be deleted from the platform, and the assigned locum will no longer be able to view or work the shift.
Important: The locum will be automatically notified of the cancellation through the platform. However, we recommend that you reach out to the locum directly via the chat function to personally inform them of the cancellation prior to proceeding.
Steps to Cancel a Shift via a Group Manager/Owner Profile
- Login to your account.
- Navigate to the menu on the left-hand side and select ‘Shifts.’
- Use the dropdown filter menu to input the necessary information to locate the shift, such as the date and pharmacy name.
- Once the relevant details have been entered, click ‘Filter’.
- Locate the shift you wish to remove, and then click the red ‘rubbish bin’ icon under the ‘Action’ column.
- A prompt will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the shift.
- Click ‘OK’ to confirm the removal of the shift.
Please note: Once a shift is removed, this action cannot be undone. The shift will be permanently deleted from the system.
Cancelling Shifts Within 72 Hours of the Shift Start Time
If the shift you are attempting to cancel is within 72 hours of the scheduled start time and a Marketplace Locum has been assigned, you will be unable to remove the shift directly through the platform.
To proceed with cancelling a shift within this timeframe:

- Please note that cancellations made within 72 hours of the shift will incur a cancellation fee.
This ensures that the locum receives timely updates and that the pharmacy complies with the platform’s cancellation policies.
