How Do I Cancel a Shift?

The process for canceling a shift on Locumate depends on the time remaining until the scheduled shift. Follow the instructions below based on when your shift is taking place:

For Shifts More Than 30 Days Away:

  1. Open the Locumate app: Log in using your locum credentials.
  2. Access your calendar: Tap the calendar icon to view your upcoming shifts.
  3. Select the month: Navigate to the relevant month in the calendar to locate the shift you wish to cancel.
  4. Find the specific shift: Identify the pharmacy job you accepted for the date in question.
  5. Click the three-dot icon: Next to the job shift, you'll see a three-dot icon. Click on this icon to access additional options.
  6. Remove yourself from the shift: Select the option to remove yourself from the shift. 

For Shifts Within 30 Days:

If your shift is scheduled within the next 30 days, you will need to contact Locumate support to request a cancellation.

  1. Email Locumate support: Send an email to support@locumate.com.au with your cancellation request. Be sure to include the following details:
    • Your full name and contact information.
    • The date and time of the shift you wish to cancel.
    • The pharmacy location 

Locumate Support Team will review your request and confirm the cancellation via email.
