How to post a shift

How to post a shift

Please follow the steps below to create a shift on the Locumate App:

1. Log in to Your Pharmacy Profile

Access your account to begin creating a shift.

2. Post a Shift

To post shifts on the Locumate platform, click the ‘+’ icon in the menu.

3. Choose Shift Type

You will be prompted to select either Create a Shift or Create a Job:

  • Select Create a Shift for locum shifts.

  • Select Create a Job for permanent or full-time roles.

4. Select Shift Dates

On the next screen, choose the date(s) for your shift:

  • For a single shift, select the required date.

  • For multiple shifts, select the desired dates (e.g., Monday, Tuesday, Friday).

Click ‘NEXT’ (top right corner) once you've selected the dates.

If you've selected multiple dates, you’ll be asked:
"Do you want this shift to be booked by the same pharmacy professional?"

  • Select Yes if you want a single locum to take the entire block of shifts.

  • Select No if you want different locums to pick up different dates.

5. Set Shift Hours

Enter the opening and closing hours for each shift. You can also deselect specific dates if needed.

Click ‘NEXT’ to continue.

6. Set Pay Rates

Set the pay rates on the next screen. You can specify different rates for weekdays and weekends.

Note: Rates are excluding superannuation. As you enter the base rate, the super component will be calculated and shown automatically.

You can choose when the shift becomes visible:
