Why do I need to provide so many details and documents?

We understand your concerns about the amount of information we request. Please know that this information is vital to ensuring a smooth and secure experience for both locums and pharmacies on our platform.

Here’s why each piece of information is needed:

  • Bank Account Details, ABN, and Super Details (including TFN): These are essential for pharmacies to make payments to locums accurately and securely.
  • Address: Helps the platform match you with nearby job opportunities within your state.
  • AHPRA, ID, and Insurance Documents: Required for legal reasons to ensure compliance.

We prioritise the security of your data and ensure it is handled with the highest standards. Collecting this information also allows us to support our upcoming Pay Next Day feature, which will enable locums to receive prompt payments once launched.

Additionally, providing this information offers you more flexibility:

  • Accept Shifts Easily: Quick and easy acceptance of shifts without repeated data entry.
  • View Available Jobs: Access to job opportunities within your state.
  • Set Your Own Pay Rate: Greater control over your earnings.

Locumate simplifies the process by automatically generating invoices and sending them to pharmacies for payment processing. A contract is also formed when a shift is accepted to protect both parties.

We appreciate your feedback and are committed to enhancing your experience on our platform.
